Meet Peso, a brave little dog with a big heart—and a serious heart condition. Peso has been diagnosed with a severe heart murmur caused by Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). This condition occurs when a vital blood vessel doesn't close properly after birth, leading to significant health issues. Without surgery, Peso's life expectancy is only three years.

We are thrilled to share that a loving adopter has come forward to provide Peso with a forever home and has generously offered to cover $1,500 of the $4,000 surgery cost. While we are committed to giving Peso the life-saving surgery he needs, this procedure will significantly impact our medical funds.
