Meet Peso, a brave little dog with a big heart—and a serious heart condition. Peso has been diagnosed with a severe heart murmur caused by Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). This condition occurs when a vital blood vessel doesn't close properly after birth, leading to significant health issues. Without surgery, Peso's life expectancy would have only been three years.

We were absolutely committed to giving Peso the life-saving surgery he needs. However, this procedure did significantly impact our medical funds.
