From Concrete to Grass, Help us Give our Pets Room to Play

Help us expand the play yard for our Emporia shelter pets! With your support, we can bring a taste of the outdoors to our furry friends, providing them with a larger space to run, jump, and play. When Prairie Paws moved into the Emporia shelter in August last year, several of the dogs had never touched grass before. This project will ensure every pet in our care experiences the joy of open spaces and fresh grass beneath their paws.

The new fence construction will cost $20,000 and will provide our pets with a significantly larger area to play and explore. This expanded play yard will not only improve their quality of life but also enhance enrichment opportunities, keeping them happy, healthy, and ready for adoption.
